BEK save client time and money in Bicester
BEK Enviro have recently completed site investigation works to support the redevelopment of Bicester Service Station for Blackburn based Eurogarages. The site investigation included the drilling of a series of window sample boreholes and recovery of a series of soil samples for chemical testing. Furthermore, in situ geotechnical testing was carried out in order to provide recommendations for foundation design at the site.
An initial Preliminary Risk Assessment completed by others recommended a series of gas monitoring visits at the site over a 3 month period. However, BEK re-assessed the risks from ground gas and recommended the installation of precautionary gas membrane in all new builds on site. This led to significant savings on costs and time for the client on this project.
